Overview
Making Proud Choices! is an evidence-based sexual health curriculum designed to help teens understand behaviors that put them at risk for pregnancy, Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and other sexually transmitted infections (STIs). The curriculum consists of eight one-hour modules.
According to the 2017-2019 data provided by the Arizona Department of Health Services, the 85301, 853020 and 85303 zip code areas have higher STIs and teen pregnancy rates than the state average. The STI and birth rates data apeak of the need for prevention in the Glendale area.
